In an emergency
If you feel very unwell, have severe pain, can’t stop vomiting, show signs of dehydration or an allergic reaction, or are thinking about harming yourself, call your local emergency number now (for example 911 in the US and Canada, 999 in the UK, 112 in the EU and India, 000 in Australia). Holimo can’t help in an emergency. See crisis resources.
A wellness app, not a medical device
Holimo is a general wellness product. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or condition. It does not measure anything with your phone’s sensors alone. Nothing in Holimo is a substitute for advice from your doctor, dietitian, pharmacist or other qualified professional. Talk to them before changing your diet, exercise or medicines, especially if you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication.
Calorie and nutrition targets
- Targets are estimates from a standard formula (Mifflin–St Jeor) and what you tell us. Real needs vary from person to person.
- Holimo never sets a target below 1,200 kcal a day for women or 1,500 kcal for men (1,500 kcal if sex isn’t given), whatever you or the AI ask for.
- Nutrition values are calculated from USDA FoodData Central and are approximate. Allergen and diet labels are a guide: always check ingredient labels if you have an allergy.
- Marking yourself as pregnant or breastfeeding turns off calorie deficits.
- If what you log suggests eating has become hard, Holimo pauses diet coaching and shows support resources.
To fill in Name the registered dietitian who reviewed the targets and GLP-1 content, once the pre-launch review is done.
GLP-1 and medication
Holimo’s GLP-1 features support your journey alongside your care team. They help you remember doses, eat enough protein, notice side effects, keep moving and bring a clear report to your appointments.
- Holimo records the medicine, dose and schedule exactly as you enter them from your prescription.
- Holimo never gives advice on doses, increasing or decreasing a dose, or switching medicines. Talk to your prescriber about any change.
- Holimo never gives information about buying or compounding medicines.
- The injection-site suggestion only helps you rotate between the sites you use. Follow the instructions from your prescriber and the medicine’s leaflet.
- If you log a red-flag side effect, such as severe stomach pain, vomiting that won’t stop, signs of dehydration or an allergic reaction, Holimo shows an urgent screen asking you to contact a doctor or emergency services.
- GLP-1 medicines are generally not used in pregnancy. If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor.
Cycle tracking
Cycle predictions are estimates based on your past cycles. They are not a method of contraception and must not be used to plan or prevent pregnancy. Phase tips are general wellness suggestions.
Sleep, movement and mind
- The sleep score is Holimo’s own simple measure, not a medical one.
- Before your first workout, Holimo asks about injuries, pain or medical advice to avoid exercise. Every exercise has a low-impact option. Stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath.
- Breathing exercises, mood check-ins and the journal are for everyday wellbeing. They are not therapy. Holimo never uses diagnosis language and does not try to counsel. If you are struggling, please reach out to someone. See crisis resources.
